If your OPPO smartphone’s Bluetooth frequently disconnects from its paired devices, several factors could be at play. Common reasons include the phone being too far from the paired device, insufficient battery charge, or potential software issues. This article will provide detailed explanations and troubleshooting steps to help you understand and resolve Bluetooth disconnection problems on your OPPO smartphone. Continue reading for a straightforward guide on addressing these issues effectively.

Check Bluetooth connection

If the Bluetooth device disconnects automatically on your OPPO phone, do the following:

  • Bluetooth accessories can be paired and connected within 10 meters. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory and OPPO phone are close to each other.

  • Metal or other obstructions will affect the connectivity. Remove any objects that may block the connection.

  • Check for interference, such as Wi-Fi signals, mobile phones, etc.

  • Check if you have accidentally turned off Bluetooth on your OPPO phone.

  • Check if you use any power-saving application that automatically disables your Bluetooth. If you found the third-party application causing the problem, either modify the settings within the app so it doesn't disable your phone's Bluetooth or uninstall the application. See How to Uninstall Applications from OPPO Phone.

  • If your OPPO smartphone or the device you're trying to connect to doesn't use at least Bluetooth 5.0, then connecting to multiple devices at the same time is not possible. Please refer to your device's user manual to see which Bluetooth technology it's using.

  • Make sure your phone and other devices have enough charge. Some devices have smart power management that may turn off Bluetooth if the battery level is too low. If your phone isn't pairing, ensure both devices are charged enough or connected to power.

Enable and disable Bluetooth

Try enabling and disabling/ turning on and off your Bluetooth to refresh the connection.
