Why You See Battery Error Prompt on Your OPPO Phone
The battery error prompt appears on your OPPO phone when the system detects an issue in the battery or power management system. This warning helps protect your device from potential damage. We recommend having your phone checked by a professional to confirm whether this issue is a hardware or battery problem.
What to Do When You See a Battery Error Prompt
Here are the steps you can take to help you with the issue. Follow the guide below.
Clean the Charging Port
If you see any dirt or debris on the charging port, use a soft-bristled brush to remove it.
Use the Original Charging Cable
Charge your OPPO phone using its original charging cable. If this does not work, try using a different charging cable and adapter.
Charge in a wall charger or USB port
Try charging your OPPO phone in another wall charger or a computer USB port.
Perform Component Check
Run a quick check on the battery using your OPPO phone.
Note: This option is only available for ColorOS 3.2 and above devices. The Quick Check and Component Check are alike in some OPPO devices.
