Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How to Troubleshoot Phone Battery Percentage Stuck While Charging
If your OPPO phone's battery percentage is stuck while charging, it could be due to a hardware component failure. Try the following options first below to help fix the issue.
Clean the charging port of the phone
Remove any dirt or debris stuck in the port. See How to Keep Your OPPO Phone Clean and Sanitized.
Use the original charging accessories
Some third-party accessories might not be compatible with your OPPO phone and may cause problems.
Try a different charging cable and adapter
Try to use a different charging cable and adapter and see if the battery percentage is increasing.
Perform Component Check
For ColorOS 14 to ColorOS 15 and above: Go to the [Phone Manager] app and tap the [3-dotted] icon in the upper-right corner> [Diagnostics] >select [ Battery & Charging] and tap [Run diagnostics]. If the results came back abnormal, we recommend visiting the nearest service center for testing.
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 13 : Go to the [Phone Manager] > [Tools] > [Diagnostics]. Tap [Diagnostics] and select [Battery & Charging] and disable other components, and then tap [Run diagnostics] and plug in your charger if required to see if it's a battery or charging failure.
For ColorOS 11: Go to the [Phone Manager]> [Diagnostics] > [Continue]. Select [Battery & Charger] and disable other components, then tap [Run Diagnostics] and plug in your charger if required to see if it's a battery or charging failure.
Note: This step is only applicable for ColorOS 3.2 and above devices.
Charge the phone from a different wall charging port
Check the connection of your charging cable, USB wall adapter, and wall socket if it is firm. If you're charging your OPPO phone with your computer, use the original charging cable.
Restart the phone
Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
Update your phone's software
Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] / [System Updates] / [About Device] to check for and update your phone's software to the latest version.
Factory reset system settings
Resetting your OPPO phone to system settings will not delete any of your files. See How to Factory Reset an OPPO Phone.
If the abovementioned steps do not fix your concern, prepare your warranty card and contact your nearest OPPO Customer Service. You can also contact OPPO Support so we can help and assist you further with your concern. Depending on your region, you may check if you need to book an appointment before visiting your local Service Center.
