Dual Wi-Fi or Dual-Band Wi-Fi lets your OPPO smartphone connect to two Wi-Fi networks at the same time for 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. This feature is good for gaming and streaming videos. However, there are also instances wherein you are recommended not to use this feature. To know more about it, continue reading the simple guide we created below.

Applicable to: OPPO Reno2 Series.

Note: Dual Wi-Fi is unavailable in these regions: Europe, parts of America (Grenada), parts of Asia (Ossetia, Cyprus, Armenia, Turkey, Georgia).

When should I disable the Dual Wi-Fi feature

Dual Wi-Fi is not recommended to use if the main Wi-Fi speed exceeds 6MB/s.

How to disable the Dual Wi-Fi feature

If the main Wi-Fi is a good network (6MB/s and above), dual Wi-Fi will be automatically disconnected. You will only be connected to the main Wi-Fi.

To manually disconnect, go to [Settings] > [Wi-Fi] > [Smart Speed-Up]  > [Dual-Wi-Fi Speed-Up] > [Auto Dual-Wi-Fi Speed-Up] > toggle to disable.
