What to Do if You Cannot Switch the Camera of Your OPPO?
You want to take a selfie, but you cannot switch your camera. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can do, like clearing the camera's data and cache, restarting the phone, and others. To know the other fixes you can do, just read on!
Situation: You don't have option to switch your camera.
Applicable to: All OPPO smartphones.
Clear camera's data and cache
For ColorOS 5.0: Go to [Settings]> [App Management]> [Show System Processes] > [Camera] > [Storage use] then click [Clear data] & [Clear cache]
For ColorOS 3.1 and 3.2: Go to [Settings]> [App Management> [All] > [Camera] >then click [Clear data] & [Clear cache]
For ColorOS 3.0 and below: Go to [Settings]> [Additional setting]> [Application Management]> [All] > [Camera] > then click [Clear data] & [Clear cache]
Restart the phone
Restart the phone, and see if you fixed the issue. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Slide down to power off message appears. Drag the power icon down to turn off the phone. To turn the phone back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the OPPO logo.
Update the system
For ColorOS 3.1 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] and update your phone to the latest software version.
For ColorOS 3.0: Go to [Settings] > [System updates].
Test the touchscreen
If the cameras won't switch when you tap , download a painting software such as Autodesk SketchBook, and use it to test if the touchscreen is working properly. Open the software, draw lines across and see if lines are displayed. If lines are not displayed, it might be a touchscreen issue.
