What to Do If WhatsApp Hangs or Lags?

 Situation: You are navigating WhatsApp but frequently hangs or lags.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

 

Please make sure to check the following:

Network

Make sure you have a stable internet connection. 


Device

If  there's no issue on your network and that connection is good but still having video/voice call issues, check these things:

  1. Log out and login to WhatsApp Account.

  2. Force Stop WhatsApp and restart device.

  3. Clear Cache: Long Tap on Whatsapp icon> App Info> Storage > Clear Cache

  4. Update WhatsApp on Google Play Store.

  5. Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp.
