What to do if SIM 2 is on Default Though I have Chosen SIM 1?

You have 2 SIM card slots - SIM 1 and SIM 2 on your OPPO phone, but there seems a mix-up on the SIM you are using for data. Your SIM 2 is on default even though you have chosen SIM 1 or vice versa. Read this guide we have prepared to fix this concern.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

Please be assured that this is the design of the Android system and it is not a device malfunction.

You will need to select a SIM card to send or download MMS even if you have chosen to use the data traffic of SIM 1 in [Settings] > [Dual SIM & Cellular].

Dual SIM & Cellular

For example, if you have selected SIM 2 to send MMS, the MMS will be sent or downloaded by the mobile data of SIM 2. It will automatically switch back to the mobile network of SIM 1 when the MMS is sent or downloaded.

Additional information: MMS or Multimedia Messaging Service is a standard way to send messages that include multimedia content over a cellular network.
