What To Do If I Don't Want to Show Password Characters when Signing In?

 

Situation: You want to hide the password characters that appear when you enter them in the password input box. 

Applicable to: ColorOS 3.0 and above devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

For ColorOS 7.0 and above. Go to [Settings] > [Security] > toggle off [Show Password].

For ColorOS 6.1 and 6.0. Go to [Settings] > [Device & Privacy] > toggle off [Show Password]/[Show Passcode]. 

For ColorOS 5.2. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Device & Privacy] > toggle off [Show Password].

For ColorOS 3.2. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Security & Privacy] > toggle off [Show passcode]/[Make Passcodes Visible].

For ColorOS 3.1 and 3.0. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Safety & Privacy] > toggle off [Make Passcodes Visible].
