What Happens if I Long-Press on Some App Icons on My Phone?

Situation: You long press some app icons and noticed some shortcuts to the actions you can perform on those apps.

Applicable to: ColorOS 5.0 and above device. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]. 

When you long-press on some applications on your home screen, you can see some app shortcuts.

App shortcuts are the application’s common actions or tasks displayed on the user’s home screen. This way, users can quickly get back into specific parts of the application without the need of additional navigation.
