UV Glass Tempered/ Screen Protector Film Causes Blurred Photos
Placing a screen protector film on your smartphone is essential in keeping its screen safe from scratches. Like for OPPO Reno5 Series - this comes with a protective film and other models use the UV Glass tempered film. However, you might have found out that this protector has caused your front camera to be blurred and, in some cases affecting your screen's sensitivity to touch. Some Concerns when using UV Glass Tempered/ Screen Protector Film
Film bubble
UV Glue is used to put a UV-tempered glass film. Proper precaution must be used when applying this glue as it can create bubbles that are hard to remove after placing the tempered glass film.
Blurred camera
Since film bubbles are hard to remove, some people opt-in using a machine to remove them. However, this operation is equivalent to exerting a 6kg force on your smartphone. This force is enough to damage some components on your phone's camera.
Touchscreen failure
The OPPO Reno5 series handset comes with an original protective film. If you replaced it with a new one that is twice or even thicker than the original one, it might affect the touch screen and cause a touch screen failure.
Low voice/unresponsive buttons
One of the risks of replacing the original film is when the UV glue flows into the keys. It may cause the keys or voice to malfunction.
