Unable to Enable the Split Screen Function on OPPO Phone
Situation: When you try to enable the Split Screen option, you receive an error, "This function is not available in the current mode".
Applicable to: ColorOS 5.2 and above devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].
We hope the following steps will fix your concern but if not, kindly contact OPPO Support Team, or take your phone, proof of purchase, and warranty card to a nearby OPPO Customer Service Center for further assistance.
Reset the launcher to the default System Launcher in [Settings] > [App Management] > [Default App] > [Homescreen]/[Home app] and select [System Launcher]. Try the Split Screen option again.
Reset system settings. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Backup and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] > [Reset System Settings Only].
If the above steps did not fix the error, back up and transfer your data, then perform factory data reset. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Backup and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] > [Erase All Data]/[Erase All Content and Settings] and follow the onscreen instructions to restore your phone to its factory settings.
