Split Screen feature in ColorOS

Looking to use Google Chrome and WhatsApp simultaneously on your device without constantly switching between apps? With OPPO devices, you can take advantage of Split Screen mode to seamlessly use two apps at once on your screen. Split Screen mode enables you to utilize two apps simultaneously, and it can be accessed in three different ways: Smart Sidebar, Recent tasks, and 3-finger gesture. Applicable to: Devices with ColorOS 7 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About Device].

How to Enter Split Screen Mode

You can enter Split screen mode in 3 ways:-

  • 3 fingers gestures:- Swipe 3 fingers from the bottom of the screen to enter the split screen mode.


  • Recent tasks:- Open recent tasks > tap on 3 dots above the app > tap on Split screen.


  • Smart Sidebar:- Open the first app and drag and drop the 2nd app from the sidebar to use a split screen.


Note: This feature only works for apps supporting split screen.
