Delete photos from Line app
Recently customers are unable to delete photos that they have saved from using Line application. The photos usually are saved in the designated photo album on the phone. This has been the case to those who have downloaded Line App (v.8.6.0). The reason is that Line photos are saved on a wrong path or file extension. The photos that are downloaded from Line using this version will be saved on storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Line/ but the normal path or file extension should be /storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Line/.
To fix the concern, update and download Line (v.8.6.1) which has added the " / ". Photos saved using this version can now be deleted normally.
For Photos that have been saved from Line (v8.6.0) and are unable to delete can be removed by these steps:
1. For ColorOS 5.0, go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Show System Processes] > [Media Storage] > [Storage Usage] > [Clear data] > and [Clear Cache] then restart the phone.
2. For ColorOS 3.1 and 3.2, go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [All] > [Media Storage] > [Clear data] and then restart the phone.
3. For ColorOS 3.0, go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Application Management] > [All] > [Media Storage] > [Clear data] and [Clear Cache] then restart phone.
* Pictures, settings, and paths might differ from those of your phone, but that does not affect the description in this article.
