How to Save an Edited Photo Over the Original Image

Streamline your editing process by overwriting the original image with the edited one using the feature available on your OPPO phone. This function enables edited photos to be saved directly by overlaying changes onto the original image, making image file management easier by eliminating duplicate versions. It also supports restoring the original photo from recently deleted items, enabling further edits when needed.


How to Save Edits and Restore Original Photos

  1. Go to the [Photos] app.

  2. Select the photo you need to edit.

  3. Tap the [Edit] button and edit accordingly.

  4. After editing, tap [Save], then choose to overwrite the original image or save it as a new one.

  5. After choosing to overwrite the original image and saving it, you can re-enter the editing interface.

  6. Then tap [Revert] at the lower right corner to restore the original image.
