Troubleshooting Method

  1. Confirm whether the power-off is caused from mistaken operations/touch;

  2. Confirm whether the power-off is caused from low power volume; If it is, please suggest the customer charge the phone for 20 minutes; 

  3. Suggest the customer clear the applications running in the background;

  4. If there is an external SD card being installed, the auto power-off may be result from the faulty external SD card. Please suggest the customer remove , format, or replace the SD card;    

  5. Auto Power-off may result from unknown applications with malicious virus that were installed recently; Please suggest the customer scan the phone in the Phone Manager;(Path: Phone Manager—Virus Scan) 

  6. Suggest the customer reinstall the third-applications that were recently installed;

  7. Confirm whether the software has been updated to the latest version; if it is, please upgrade the phone to the latest version(Path: Settings- Software Updates)

  8. If it cannot be solved, please suggest the customer backup all the data in the phone and reset the phone;

  9. If the problem cannot be solved, suggest the customer bring the Purchase Invoice, Warranty Card and the phone to the nearest OPPO customer service center for further detection and repair;

  10. After receiving the faulty phone, the service center firstly handles the fault according to the above steps; if the fault still recurs, flash the phone for the customer;

  11. If the problem has not been solved, replace the mainboard for the customer;
