Translate Screenshots On The Go With ColorOS
With ColorOS 11 and above devices, you can quickly translate text on screenshots taken with 3 fingers or by pressing the volume buttons. You can now quickly translate screenshots when reading documents or chatting with foreign friends, you can also call up the Smart Sidebar to translate all content on your phone screen. This feature is powered by Google Lens. Follow the article below to learn how to translate the screenshot.
Applicable to: ColorOS 11 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone/About Device].
Translate Screenshots Taken Through Volume Buttons
After the screenshot is taken, tap the preview button instantly.
Tap the "Google Lens" Icon at the top right corner.
Tap "Translate" to start the translation.
It will detect the text language inside the screenshot and translate it to your desired language.
You can also change the to be translated language by tapping the language bar.
Translate Partial Screenshots
After the partial screenshot is taken, tap "Translate" to translate the screenshot.
You can also change the to be translated language by tapping the language bar.
Translate Your Screen Instantly With Smart Sidebar
You can also translate the content on your screen while chatting with foreign friends with the smart sidebar. Quickly open the smart bar by sliding and tap the "Screen Translate" tool to translate texts that are currently being shown on your screen.
