The OPPO Accessibility 2.0 on ColorOS
With the Accessibility feature on your OPPO phone, everything you need to enjoy a user-friendly smartphone experience is just a tap away. The latest ColorOS 12 version offers a range of Accessibility modes, including TalkBack, Accessibility Menu, Select to Speak, and more, to help make using your OPPO phone even easier. Accessibility enables everyone to use their device properly. Follow the article below to learn more about accessibility.

Accessibility on ColorOS
The Accessibility mode in ColorOS 12 has divided its function according to general vision, hearing, and interaction for users to find the Accessibility modes easily and use what they need. To check the Accessibility modes on ColorOS 12 and above devices: Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility].
Key Accessibility Feature:
Magnification
Use this magnification feature to help you quickly zoom in on the screen to see the content.
Select to Speak
Select to Speak lets you tap specific content on your OPPO phone's screen to hear it read out loud.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Vision] > [Select to Speak] and toggle [Select to Speak] to enable.
Select to Speak: Tap the icon on the lower right corner and tap a specific message to hear the content. You can also tap and drag to select multiple paragraphs.
Color Vision Enhancement
This feature in Accessibility adjusts colors based on your color vision for a more comfortable display.
TalkBack
TalkBack helps our low vision or visually impaired users read what's on the screen aloud.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Vision] > toggle [TalkBack] to enable.
Gestures to remember to use TalkBack:
Swipe right or left to switch between items.
Double-tap to activate an item.
Swipe with two fingers to scroll up or down.
Accessibility Menu
This mode, once enabled, provides an on-screen menu to control your OPPO phone and find the features you want to access quickly, like Volume, Brightness, Lockscreen, Screenshot, and more.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > [General] > [Acessibility Menu] and toggle [Accessibility Menu] to enable.
Switch Access
Switch Access helps control the phone if having difficulty touching the screen or pressing the buttons.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Interaction] and toggle [Switch Access] to enable.
Text-to-speech (TTS) Output
Customize the Text-To-Speech output by going to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Vision] > [Text-to-Speech settings].
Subtitles and Audio/ Caption Preferences
Adjust the audio and caption settings for a better user experience.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Hearing].
Sound Amplifier
Amplifies ambient sounds to hear more clearly and communicate with others smoothly.
Go to [Settings] > [System settings]/[Additional settings] > [Accessibility] > Swipe to [Hearing] > [Sound amplifier].
