Storage Space Remains Unchanged even after Deleting Videos and Photos
When you delete photos and videos from your Photos app, they aren't truly erased right away. Instead, they get sent to a temporary holding cell – the Recently Deleted folder. This gives you a safety net in case you accidentally delete something you actually wanted to keep. These recently deleted files still occupy storage space on your device, even though they're hidden from your main gallery view.
The photos and videos will be kept in the album [Recently Deleted] for 30 days in case you accidentally delete the photos or videos. If you want to delete them permanently, you can go to [Photo] > [Album] > [Recently Deleted] and delete the photos and videos inside.

Option 1: Go to [Photo] / [Photos] > [Album] / [Albums] > [Recently Deleted] and check if some videos or photos are still saved.
