No notification on the Status Bar
You might be wondering why after enabling notifications such as Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, calls, messages, etc. to display at the top of the screen, nothing is showing and the icons are not visible. Check below the simple steps we created for you.
The notification does show in a form of a notification banner and it will be shown in the middle of your screen. If your screen is locked, it will show in the middle of the home screen.
If your phone is unlocked, swipe down from the very top of any screen and you’ll see the notification banner in the middle of the homescreen.
To show notifications on the screen
For ColorOS 15 and above
Go to [Settings] > [Notification & Quick Settings] > choose the app you want to manage, tap [Allow Notifications] .
For ColorOS 14
Long press the App icon you want to manage > [APP info] > [Manage notifications], tap [Allow Notifications]
Note: Due to limited space, only 5 app notification icons can be displayed in the left status bar. Notifications beyond this limit are indicated by a " • " (dot). You can pull down the notification center to view all notifications.
Turn off the energy-saving mode of the corresponding application
Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [Power Saving settings] > [App battery management], select the application and select [Allow background activity].
