OPPO A92 Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi
Here are some troubleshooting steps to do if your OPPO A92 can't connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Restart your OPPO A92
To restart, press and hold the Power button for at least five (5) seconds and swipe up.
Check if it's not connected to Wi-Fi
Go to [Settings] > [Wi-Fi], toggle the [Wi-Fi] to turn on/off, connect to the Wi-Fi, and key in the password if asked.
Look for the Wi-Fi icon
After connecting your phone to the Wi-Fi, check your notification bar to see if you can see the Wi-Fi icon. If not, check if the Wi-Fi is available, or move closer to the router and see if it will show.
Restart your router
You may check your router's manual and follow the instructions on how to reset it. You may also call your internet provider for further assistance.
If it's still not working:
1. Try the Wi-Fi network on other phones or gadgets. Contact your internet provider for assistance if it fails to connect to other phones.
2. Check the cables of your router. Check if the wires aren't connected properly or if your router is aging or damaged. After checking, restart your router for at least 10 minutes and connect to it again.
3. Reset your phone to factory settings. Make sure to back up and transfer your data before doing so, as it will erase all the data on your phone.
To factory reset, go to [Settings] > [Additional settings] > [Back up and reset] > [Erase all data (factory reset)].
