1. Background：

Users complain that F5 battery cover is easily scratched and paint-off (especially black one), when assembling and disassembling the protective case.
 

2. Reasons：

1. Poor paint adhesiveness due to the battery cover produced technology;

2. The material of F5 original protective case is hard PC, which can be easily scratched and paint-off while operating.

 

3. Solutions： 

1. HQ has improved the production craft of battery cover paint since Dec 15th ，devices delivered after Dec 20th  have improved.

2. HQ is producing a new phone protective case of which the material is TPU, and it will put in use after Jan 24th .
    

4. Instructions for service center：

1. 1. If users come to service centers because of the Paint-off or protective case related scratch  issues in F5, replace a new battery cover for free;

If users complain about this defect toughly (user disagrees with the proposal of battery cover replacement),report to local service supervisor or manager, replace a new unit depending on the circumstances.

2. Service centers stop using the protective case of PC material, and apply for the TPU material one for users. User can select their own preference color.
