Important Notice Regarding Live Alerts on OPPO Smartphones

Live Alerts are designed to show real-time information on the lock screen or in the notification panel. After certain ColorOS updates, system optimization settings may unintentionally limit how these alerts function in the background.
This behavior is software-related and does not indicate any hardware problem with the device.

Common Symptoms

  • Live sports or event alerts do not appear on the lock screen

  • Alerts show only after unlocking the device

  • Live notifications stop updating in real time

  • Regular app notifications continue to work as expected

Recommended Solutions

Step 1. Disable Battery Optimization for Affected Apps

  • Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [App Battery Management]

  • Select the affected app

  • Set it to Allow background activity / No restrictions

This allows Live Alerts to refresh continuously in the background.

Step 2. Enable Lock-Screen Notifications

1. Open [Settings] > [Notifications & Status Bar]

2. Select the affected app

3. Enable:

  • Lock-screen notifications

  • Floating notifications

  • Persistent alerts (if available)

Step 3. Allow Background Data Usage

  • Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [App name] > [Mobile data & Wi-Fi]

  • Enable Background data usage
