Live Alerts in ColorOS 15 deliver real-time updates directly on the home screen or within apps, reducing the need to unlock your phone or open applications. The feature now supports more apps, such as Spotify, Swiggy, and Zomato, and focuses on clearer, more efficient information display.
Live Alerts Interface
You can interact with alerts by tapping them to expand notification capsules into detailed information cards. These live activities are accessible by swiping down from the status bar, allowing you to quickly view updates without opening apps. The updated animation system improves usability by making transitions smoother and more responsive. Real-time dynamic blur effects are also applied, helping notifications remain visually clear while reducing distractions and creating a more polished interface.
How to Enable Live Alerts
On your device, go to [Settings] > [Accessibility & convenience] > [Live Alerts] > [Select App] > [Allow Live Alerts].
What Options are Available in Live Alerts
You will get options like:
App alerts: Limited apps are available in this option such as Swiggy, Zomato, and Spotify. You can choose the alert styles you want for each app.
System Services: This option provides live notifications in pre-installed apps such as Music, Game Times Service, Game Update Service, Personal Hotspot, and Screen Recording.
Unobtrusive Live Alerts: Live Alerts displayed in the status bar will be minimised into bubbles after some time.
