How to Use the Do Not Disturb Mode on OPPO Phone

Utilize the Quiet Time/Do Not Disturb feature on your OPPO phone to temporarily silence notifications and take a break from your phone without constantly being interrupted by updates. You can customize this feature by setting a schedule or even allowing specific people to reach you. The DND feature can help you stay focused on your task and boost productivity. For more information, read on!


Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

  • Quiet time is renamed as Do Not Disturb on ColorOS 7 and above. Please refer to the actual product.


What is Do Not Disturb mode

When the DND mode is enabled, you will not be notified about calls, messages, emails, upcoming events, and notifications except those that are permitted, and an icon will appear in the status bar.

Note: The alarm clock and countdown timer will not be muted.

 

How to enable Do Not Disturb mode

  • For ColorOS 11 to ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Sound & vibration] > [Do Not Disturb]. Alternatively, swipe down to view the Control center, then tap the [OPPO Do Not Disturb IconDo Not Disturb] icon.

  • For ColorOS 6 to ColorOS 7: Go to [Settings] > [Do Not Disturb] and toggle [Enable now].

Tip: If you can't find the Quiet Time/ Do Not Disturb icon in the Control Center, check How to Rearrange Control Center Icons.


Schedule Quiet Time/ Do Not Disturb:

If you want to set Quiet Time to automatically turn on at specific times, you can set a schedule for it.

  • For ColorOS 11 to ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Sound & vibration] > [Do Not Disturb] > [Schedules] and tap the [+] icon on the upper right and add a [Schedule name], [From], [To] and the [Repeat] option. Tap the [Check mark] to finalize.

  • For ColorOS 7: Go to [Settings] > [Do Not Disturb] > toggle on [Enable now]. Tap [Schedules], then tap [+] on the top right of the screen, and add the [Rule name], [Start], [End] time, and the [Repeat] option. Tap [Done].


Exceptions

  • Allow notifications: You will be notified about system notifications during the scheduled time.

  • Allow messages and/or calls from: Allow messages and/or calls to come through from no one, everyone, contacts, or favorites.

Ring for Repeated Calls

Enabling this will make a second call from the same number keep on ringing for 3 minutes. This is useful for allowing people to reach you in emergency situations.
