The screen recording allows you to record the ongoing activities on your phone. Screen recording is especially useful when you want to share a function setting with your friends. Share your gameplay, report bugs, etc. You can also screen record with sound and perform other settings. Follow the article below to learn how to screen record on an OPPO smartphone.

Applicable to: OPPO A3s and devices with ColorOS 5.2. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Record screen in OPPO A3s

1. You can record the screen by swiping down from the top of the screen to open the control panel.

2. Tap the [] icon.

3. The recording will start after a countdown of 3-second.

4. While the screen is being recorded, you’ll see a floating circle icon with a time counter on the screen. You can tap this button to stop and save the screen recording on your phone.

5. A notification “The screen recording has been saved” will appear in the notification bar, tap it to watch it.

1. Go to [Settings] > [System Apps] > [Screen Recording] and turn on [Allow sound recording], you will find the below settings:

1. Allow sound recording: Record.

2. Change Video Resolution.

3. Record screen taps.

4. Front camera.

If you followed all these instructions, and you still can’t perform screen recording in OPPO A3s, you should check your service and support coverage. Note: 

1. Screen recording automatically stops when the screen is turned off, the phone is powered off, or after 30 minutes.

2. Each screen recording is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. 

3. The sound through Screen Recording is unavailable when another channel or application is using the microphone feature. This explains why there's no sound from screen recording during a video call. You can only use the voice and recording from your microphone one channel or application at a time.

Note: The Screen Recording feature is NOT supported in Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, USA, Australia, Tunisia, and Japan due to local regulation. For supported regions, the Screen Recording option may vary based on the ColorOS version
