How to Remove Mobile Ads on OPPO Phone
Too many app notifications can be distracting. By default, apps request permission to send notifications upon installation. You can easily manage and customize these permissions in your OPPO device’s notification settings to control which apps can send alerts.
Why Am I Getting Ads on My OPPO Phone and How to Remove Them
Receiving advertisements frequently on your OPPO smartphone can be bothersome. And sometimes, it can bury the important notifications on your phone. You receive an advertisement notification because you might have enabled it in the past; to disable this feature, follow the presented path:
For ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > choose the app you want to manage, then toggle [Allow notifications].
For ColorOS 12 and below: Go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > [Manage Notifications] > choose the app you want to manage, then toggle off the [Allow Notifications] / [Enable or Disable] button to disable and not receive notifications.
Disable Ads Through the Control Center
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notification Center. Swipe left on a notification, tap [Settings], or the Settings icon.
Then toggle off [Allow Notifications].
What to Do if Allow Notification Option is Greyed Out
If the Allow Notification setting is greyed out for the app, go to the home screen, *long-press the app, tap [App Info] > [Manage notifications] > toggle off [Allow Notifications].
