How to Avoid Pop-up Ads in OPPO Devices
Pop-up Ads can occur randomly and interrupt us while using the device. Pop- Ads are not shown by the phone and they are displayed by the Third-party application or Websites for digital promotion. They also increase the consumption of battery and the internet. Some ads can also redirect us to miscellaneous websites. How to Avoid Pop-up Ads
We can take multiple precautions to avoid ads:-
Avoid downloading apps from third-party browsers and apps.
Always use the Google Play Store to download applications.
Download High-rated applications from the Google Play Store.
Avoid interacting with the Pop-up that occurs while surfing on the Internet.
Avoid giving device permission to third-party sites and apps.
How to Remove Pop-up Ads
If you have detected the application that is displaying ads then do these settings:-
For ColorOS 12.0 and above, Go to [Settings] > [Notification & status bar] > [Select the app and Turn OFF notifications].
For ColorOS 11.3 and below, Go to [Settings] > [Notification & status bar] > [Manage notifications] > [Select the app and Turn OFF notifications].
Note: You can also delete the application if it is not required.
If you don't know the application which is showing ads:-
Go to [Settings] > [Google] > [Ads] > [Reset advertising ID] > Tap on [Confirm].
Note:- You have to clear the data of the browser that you use on a regular basis.
