On OPPO phones running ColorOS 16.0 and later, users can modify the appearance of home screen folders directly. By changing the folder layout, you can manage apps more efficiently and display frequently used ones more prominently.

How to Modify the Home Screen Folder Style

Follow these steps to change the style of your folders:

1. On the home screen, long press the folder you want to customize.

  • Make sure the folder is in 2×2 size to enable the style options.

2. A menu will appear with several folder style choices.

3. Select your preferred layout (e.g., 9-grid view, 4-grid view, or highlight first app).

  • 9-grid view: Displays up to nine app icons in a compact layout.

  • 4-grid view: Shows four larger icons for better visibility.

  • Highlighted first app: Enlarges the first app icon for quicker access.

4. Once selected, the folder will automatically update to the new display style.

This feature allows users to quickly adapt their home screen layout for better visual organization and faster navigation.
