OPPO India’s ColorOS automatically suspends the background running apps in order to save power. You can enable background apps to continuously run and also restrict background usage in OPPO F1s. This is useful especially when you are listening to music through a third-party music player or while downloading something from a browser. Follow this article to learn how to keep apps running in the background on OPPO F1s.

Applicable to: OPPO F1s and ColorOS 3.0 devices by OPPO India . Check your ColorOS Version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Allow an app to run in the background in OPPO F1s

1. Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [Others].Select the App and disable [Freeze when in background] & [Automatically optimize when an abnormally is detected].

   

1. Enable auto-start by opening [Security] from the homescreen > [Privacy Permission] > [Startup Manager] > Enable [App].

     

2. Lock the App in the background by going to the recent menu by tapping [Menu Button] > Slide down the app to lock apps in the background. A lock icon will be shown at the top left corner of App-preview if the app is locked in the background.

   

With these instructions, you will now be able to keep apps running in the background on OPPO F1s.
