How To Enable Google Assistant
Google is like a helpful friend that knows a lot of things! You can ask it questions by saying "Hey, Google" or "OK, Google." It can help you with many things, like checking the weather, finding local restaurants, or learning about new movies. You can also ask it to set alarms or make phone calls. Plus, it has a nice voice! Just remember to turn it on first to use all these cool features. Follow the article to learn more about Google Assistant.
Applicable to: For ColorOS 3.0 & above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > Click on [About phone]/[About device].
Steps To Enable Google Assistant
For ColorOS 14 and Above:
Go to [Settings] > Click on [Accessibility & convenience] > Click on [Power Button] > Tap on [Press and hold the Power button] > Select [Voice Assistant]
For ColorOS 12 To ColorOS 13:
Go to [Settings] > Click on [System settings] > Click on [Power Button] > Tap on [Press and hold the Power button] > Select [Voice Assistant]
For ColorOS 7 To ColorOS 11:
Go to [Settings] > Click on [Convenience Tools] > toggle [Press & Hold the Power button for 0.5s to Wake up Google Assistant] to green to enable.
Note: The Google Assistant will turn on by pressing the Home button for a long time.
For Swipe Gesture
Swipe the bottom right corner and wait for 2 seconds. This will turn On the Google Assistant.
For ColorOS 5.2 To ColorOS 6.0:
Go to [Settings] > Click on [Smart & Convenient] > toggle [Press & Hold the Power button for 0.5s to Wake up Google Assistant] to green to enable.
For ColorOS 3.0 To ColorOS 5.0:
Go to [Press & Hold the Center Button] (Applicable after Marshmallow).
