How to download Offline Maps?
You can enjoy navigating places without data by downloading offline maps. You have to do this before your trip. Just follow these steps:
Go to Google Maps App.
On the search bar, enter the address of the place you want to save.
Tap on the [three horizontal lines] > [Offline maps] > [SELECT YOUR OWN MAP].
You will be asked if you want to download the map of a certain area. You can zoom it in or out depending on the area you want to be covered. *It will show you how big the file size is and the expiry date.
Tap DOWNLOAD and wait once done.
How to use the downloaded Offline Maps?
Go to Google Maps App
Tap on the [three horizontal lines] > [Offline maps] > Choose the place you want to explore

By tapping on the three horizontal dots you can:
Update
View
Rename
Delete
