How to Display Your Phone Number in SIM Card Status
If your OPPO device is not displaying your phone number in the SIM card status under settings, this guide will help you set it up. Follow the simple instructions we've outlined below to show or configure your phone number in the SIM status.
Guide to Setting Your Phone Number in SIM Card Status
Some SIM cards have already been written with information by the carrier. Once the SIM card is installed, your phone will display the local phone number. However, if the SIM card lacks pre-written data, you will need to enter it manually through the guide below.
For OPPO devices with dual SIM capability:
Go to [Settings] > [SIM Card Settings] / [SIM Card and Data Management] / [Mobile Network] > select a SIM card and tap [SIM number] and enter your mobile number manually.
To verify the number: Go to [Settings] > [About Device] > [Status] > [SIM card Status] > [Local number] / [Phone number].
For OPPO devices with a single SIM:
If there is no option available to enter your mobile number, you can input the SIM card number on a dual SIM device first and then reinstall the device to display the local number.
After setting the local phone number, it will not only be displayed in settings but also your contacts list.
To check: Go to [Settings] > [About Device] > [Status] > [SIM Card Status] > [Show Local Phone Number].
