How to Display Fingerprint Icon with Screen Off on OPPO Phone

In this guide, we will show you the simple ways to display the fingerprint icon even when the screen is off so that you can unlock your OPPO phone instantly.

What Does the Show Fingerprint Icon Do
After enrolling your fingerprint on your OPPO phone, you can quickly unlock it by lightly touching the fingerprint area when the screen is off, so you don't need to wake the display.
How to Enable Show Fingerprint Icon
For ColorOS 13 to ColorOS 15: Go to [Settings] > [Security & privacy] > [Device unlock] > [Fingerprint & Face Unlock] > [Fingerprint] > enter screen lock password > toggle [Show fingerprint icon] to enable.
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 12.1: Go to [Settings] > [Password & Security] > [Fingerprint], and toggle [Show fingerprint icon] to enable.
For ColorOS 6 to 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [Password & biometrics] > [Fingerprint] > [Screen off unlock], and toggle [Show fingerprint icon] to enable.
Note: Once you finish the setup, you can select Fingerprint animation to adjust the animation effect.
