The Digital Wellbeing feature on Android smartphones helps users understand their technology usage and promotes a healthier balance with screen time. It provides insights into device and app usage, as well as notifications received, enabling informed decisions. Available on ColorOS 7.1 and later, or with the Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls option in Settings, users can find this feature in the settings menu. Here, they can manage app timers, set daily usage goals, and turn on features like Wind Down to encourage disconnection at night, ultimately fostering better digital habits. Applicable to: ColorOS 7.0 and above device or devices with Digital Wellbeing & parental controls option in Settings. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/ [About device].


  • Digital Wellbeing stores your data such as device unlocks, notifications received, app usage, motion, light detection, and time zone. 

How to Disable Digital Wellbeing

  • Go to: [Settings] > Open [Digital Wellbeing and parental control] > Select [3 dots] > Select [ Manage Your Data] > Select [Digital Wellbeing app] > Turn off [Permit usage access].
