Guide for Digital Flag Switching Under International Warranty Service

1.Background

After the International Warranty model is repaired and replaced by the non-machine purchase country (or region), the new motherboard should be written with the digital flag to switch back to the operator network in the original region. If the mainboard is repaired or replaced in  country (or region) of purchase,it should be repaired according to the normal process without switching the digital flag.

All Models support International Warranty Service; for now, it is only available for Reno 10x ZOOM

All regions where OPPO has been officially sold

4. Switching Steps

4.1 After the phone has been repaired, flash the phone with the latest software.
4.2 After the flashing is finished, input *#9434# in the dialing keypad; 
4.2.1 Open the diagnostic tool (CSDT) and connect the phone to the computer with USB to check if the model displays “Decryption successful”; If all items show "Decryption successful", as shown in Figure 4.2.1, proceed to step 4.3;
4.2.2 If there is item showing “Decryption failed”, as shown in Figure 4.2.2, click "Start" button of in diagnosis tool. After all the Decrypt Assistant options show "Decryption successful", proceed to step 4.3. 
 Note: When the diagnostic tool (CSDT) decrypts the phone successfully, “Decryption success” will be displayed at the bottom, then the phone software version will be displayed in the “Status” column, and “Don’t need to decrypt” as shown in Figure 4.2.3 will prompt at the bottom;

4.3 Enter “*#456225#” on the dialing keypad to enter the interface where the digital flag for the operator can be switched. The operator digital flag switching interface is shown in Figure 4.3.1

4.4 After entering the interface, select the corresponding area where the SIM card of the user is located or the operator version, and click the “OK” to confirm to automatically clear all the data;
4.5 After the phone automatically starts once totally cleared, enter “*#9434#” on the dialing keypad to check whether all model options is in the encrypted state. If it is not encrypted, click the “ENCRYPT ALL” button to encrypt it.
That’s all for the process of switching the digital flag.
Note: For the same mainboard, the “*#456225#” command for the switching interface can only be entered once. It must be completed at ONE TIME when switching the digital flag.
