How To Disable Animations
Your phone displays animations whenever you interact with it, such as when launching apps, minimizing them, or navigating between pages. This feature is available exclusively on OPPO devices running ColorOS 11 and newer. If your device uses an earlier version of ColorOS, you can still customize some animations. Applicable to: ColorOS 6 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Device].
Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Accessibility] > Click on [Vision]> Enable [Remove Animations].
How to disable animations
If your eyes are sensitive to visual effects or if you think that the animation is making your device slower, then you can disable them by following these paths.
For ColorOS 11 and above:
Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Accessibility] > Enable [Remove Animations].
Change app startup and closing animation speed
For ColorOS 6.0 and above:
[Settings] > [Home Screen & Lock Screen Magazine] > [App Startup and Closing Animation Speed].
Change hidden fingerprint animation
For ColorOS 11 and above:
Go to [Settings] > [Wallpapers & Style] > [Fingerprint styles/ Fingerprint animations] to choose the desired fingerprint animation design.
For ColorOS 6.0 and above:
Go to [Settings] > [Fingerprint, Face & Passcode] > [Fingerprint] > Enter the lock screen passcode > Tap [Animation Style/ Fingerprint icon animation], and select your desired fingerprint animation style.
Note: Make sure that your lock screen is already set up and that a fingerprint is also added to the lock screen before changing the fingerprint animation.
Change home screen sliding animation
With OPPO devices, you can change the sliding animations when switching from one page to another on your home screen. To change the transition effect, pinch your fingers together on your home screen, then tap [Effects]/[Transition] and select your desired transition effect.
