As time goes on, the fluency of your smartphone will gradually weaken. But thanks to OPPO's continuous effort at technological innovation, you can now eliminate issues with animation lags. To know more about this feature, continue reading the simple guide we created below.

Better visuals with Quantum Animation Engine 3.0

OPPO optimized and improved ColorOS 12's visuals with over 300 improved animations to help you find the physical feeling of the world through your fingertips. Its newly optimized visuals work hand in hand with the human brain's cognition and habits, making each tap and slide more real, smooth, and in line with your intuition.

Simulation of inertia

The Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 also stimulates real inertia, imitating the dynamic effect it has. So, when you quickly drag a free-floating window on your phone's screen - even when your finger leaves the screen surface, the free-floating window will continue moving towards the movement your finger last made. This feature mimics how an actual object moves in the real world, and finally, it will slowly stop with inertia.

Dynamic damping

One of the improved animation features is the visual's resistance to scrolling. The faster you swipe on your screen, the faster the page scrolls. Conversely, the slower your swipe movements are, the slower the page scrolls.

Extreme feedback

Extreme feedback that simulates real-life rebounds which respond to every operation you make is also among the improvements made to ColorOS 12. Even when there are no changes to your phone's content, the page rebound will take effect. So, when you drag your Camera app's zoom adjustment controls, you will feel the rebound effect.

ColorOS 12's Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 makes OPPO Phone's UI (User Interface) more interactive and realistic by mimicking the movement of objects in real life. This feature also gives a smoother feel for users by aligning its visual principles to fluency and realism of physical effect.
