How to Connect a Pen Drive to a Phone
Make sure that you are using an OTG adapter or OTG-enabled pen drive to connect to the phone.
OTG connection must be enabled before connecting a pen drive to your phone. To enable:
Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings]/[System Settings]/[Accessibility & convinience] > [OTG Connection].
Once enabled, connect the OTG drive to your phone and go to [File Manager] to access and manage the files.

Make sure that the OTG connection is turned on. to enable OTG connection, go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings]/[System settings] > Enable [OTG Connection]. After enabling, restart your device and connect the OTG device to check if the issue is fixed.
Make sure that you are using the newer version of OTG devices, pen drives, and SD Cards because the older generations of USB devices are slower and consume more power as compared to their newer versions.
Please check if your OTG storage device is using the NTFS Partition. Use your computer to format it to the NTFS partition.
Try changing the OTG Connector, SD Cards, Pen drives, or any other OTG device that you want to connect.
Make sure your phone is updated to the latest version.
