How to Check OPPO Phone Storage
Regularly checking your OPPO phoneās storage helps you monitor available space, identify large or unnecessary files, and maintain overall device performance. As apps, photos, and cached data accumulate over time, reviewing your storage status can prevent slowdowns and ensure your phone runs efficiently. This guide explains how to check your storage usage and provides steps to manage and clean up space effectively.
Know your OPPO phone's memory
For ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [About device] > tap on [Storage] to see a detailed view of your phone's storage.
For ColorOS 12: Go to [Settings] > tap on [Storage] to see a detailed view of your phone's storage.
For ColorOS 11: Go to [Settings] > [Storage] to view the storage space remaining on your phone.
For ColorOS 3.0 to 7.2: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Storage] to view the storage space remaining on both your internal phone storage and SD card.
* In some OPPO devices, you can also tap the [File] / [File Manager] on the Home screen, then tap [Files] / [All Files] to view the remaining space on your phone.
Optimize your storage space
Use Clean Up Storage to quickly detect and remove hidden temp (temporary folders or files), cookie, and cache files generated every time you open or download something from any websites or apps.
For ColorOS 7.0 and above: Go to [Phone Manager] > [Clean Up Storage] / [Clean Up] > [Clean].
* Pictures, settings, and paths might differ from those of your phone, but that does not affect the description in this article.
