How to Change Screen Recording Orientation

The screen recording feature allows you to capture the activities on your phone screen. It is useful for sharing various functions with friends, such as sharing gameplay or reporting bugs. With ColorOS, you can now change the orientation of the recorded video to either vertical or horizontal.
Applicable to: devices with ColorOS 7 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About device].
Change Screen Recording Orientation
Pull down the status bar and tap and hold the screen recorder quick icon to open its settings > [Display Orientation of Generated Video] > Choose [Horizontal/ vertical/ Follows Default].
