How to Allow Camera Permission for Video Call on OPPO Phone
If you cannot make a video call on Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat, or any other application, it could be because the camera permission is turned off in the App Permission Manager. Enabling the camera permission is easy, follow the instructions below to learn how.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
Enable camera permission
For ColorOS 13 and above:
Open the [Tools] folder > [Phone manager] > [App management]. Tap an application, then tap [Permissions], tap [Camera], then change the permission.
For ColorOS 11 to ColorOS 12:
Open the [Tools] folder > [Phone Manager] > [Privacy permissions] > [Permission manager] > [Camera], then tap the app you wish to change the camera permission.
For ColorOS 7.1 to 7.2:
Go to the [Tools] folder on your homescreen > [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] and tap [App permissions]. Tap [Apps] and choose the apps you want to allow the camera permission, then toggle [Camera] to allow.
For ColorOS 6.0 to 6.1:
Go to [Settings] > [Security] > [Permissions] > [Apps] and select an app you wish to change the camera permission and choose to allow, deny or ask.
For ColorOS 3.1 to 5.2:
Go to [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [App Permissions] > [Permissions] > [Use camera] > choose an application and tap [Allow].
For ColorOS 3.0:
Go to [Security Center] / [Security] > [Privacy Permissions] > [App permission management] > [Permissions] > [Use camera] > choose an application and tap [Allow].
