How to Add Emergency Information

Your OPPO smartphone can help you during an emergency. Accidents and incidents can occur at any time and no one likes to imagine themselves in an emergency. But now you can add emergency information such as your name, Blood group, medical conditions, and allergies so that the first responders can help you accordingly. With ColorOS 11 and above devices, you can press the power button 5 times consecutively to show your emergency information and give first responders the critical information they need. Follow the article below to learn more about emergency information.

 

Applicable to: ColorOS 11 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone/About Device].


How to Add Emergency Information

For ColorOS 15 and above:

  • Go to [Settings] > Select [Safety & emergency] > Tap on [Medical information] to add your medical information.

For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 14:

  • Go to [Settings] > Select [Safety & emergency] > Turn ON [Emergency SOS] > Select [Medical info] to add your medical information.



For ColorOS 11:

  • Go to [Settings] > [Security] > [Emergency SOS] > [Emergency Information] > [Add] > Enter the information > Tap the tick mark to save the information.



Note: After saving the information, one can access it by tapping the power button 5 times continuously.
