How Does OPPO Watch Calculate Activity Sessions
The OPPO Watch can record your activity sessions throughout the day, including the distance you've covered during a specific period, such as an hour. However, how your watch calculates these sessions may depend on various factors, such as activity type, movement patterns, and environmental conditions. Keep reading the guide below to learn more about how your OPPO Watch calculates your activity sessions.
How can OPPO Watch record daily activities
OPPO Watch is equipped with advanced sensors like an optical heartbeat sensor, triaxial acceleration sensors, and gyroscope sensors to give you more intelligent performance and more accurate results. These sensors allow your OPPO Watch to record and calculate everyday movement data.
The following are the sensors equipped on your OPPO Watch:
Ambient light Sensor - Ambient Light Sensors can detect the light around your OPPO Watch's display and adjust the backlighting accordingly, as long as you have enabled the "Auto Adjust Brightness" feature. This feature helps you have a better viewing experience and save up battery by lowering the brightness of your watch's display.
Triaxial Acceleration Sensor- This sensor helps you track the movements of your body by the number of steps you have taken throughout the day. This sensor also follows your sleep pattern and gives you insight into ways to improve your sleeping routine.
Gyroscope Sensor - The gyroscope on your OPPO Watch has an algorithm that can immediately tell when you move your wrist, including when you take a peek at your watch. This sensor allows your OPPO Watch to wake/light up when you move your wrist.
Optical Heartbeat Sensor - As its name suggests, this sensor records and keeps track of the number of beats your heart takes. Through your pulse, this sensor monitors your heart rate at regular intervals. This technology lets your watch notify you if you suddenly have an abnormal heartbeat.
Barometric Sensor - The Barometric Sensor on your OPPO Watch is why you can identify your altitude with a single look at your watch. This feature is especially essential for someone who constantly goes uphill or climbs stairs.
