1.[Background]We receive some customer complaints about A37 and A33f unable to connect to camera issue recently,in order to solve customer problem as soon as possible and improve customer satisfaction,we make a statement as follows.
2.[Causes]
When WhatsApp version updated to 2.17.79, due to the third party application problem, the camera is not properly released after the camera using by WhatsApp, and it keeps the camera to be long-term occupation, so when the system cannot connect to the OPPO camera service,and system will remind "Can't connect to the camera". Other three APP (such as: messenger, camara360, etc.) will also make this problem.
Solution
1. ColorOS3.0 models: Settings -- Additional settings -- Application management -- Running -- WhatsApp – check App info;2. ColoOS2.1 models: Settings -- Application management -- Running -- WhatsApp – check App info;
if you confirm WhatsApp App info - version is 2.17.79, please restart the phone, if the camera problem can be restored, this problem is a third part application problem, if not restored ,please go to the nearby service center for checking camera hardware.
