Disable Automatic Call Answering on OPPO Phone

 To disable automatic call answering on your OPPO smartphone, open the Phone app. Check out the simple guide below for step-by-step instructions. 

Turn off the Automatic Call Answering feature

You can turn off the Automatic Call Answering on your OPPO smartphone in two ways, depending on which one is the default app on your phone. Follow the path below to learn how to turn off this feature for the Phone and Google Phone applications.

Default OPPO's Phone App

• For ColorOS 12 and above: Go to the [Phone] application > tap the [three-dotted] icon on the upper right corner of your screen > tap on [Settings] > [Answer/End calls] > disable the [Auto answer calls when connected to external audio device].

• For ColorOS 7 to 11.3: Go to [Settings] > tap on [SIM card & mobile data] > [Call settings] > disable [Auto answer].

• For ColorOS 6.0 to 6.1: [Phone] app > [Three-dotted] icon on the top-right corner > [Settings] > [Auto Answer] > Toggle on [Auto Answer].

• For ColorOS 5.1: Go to [Phone] app > [Settings] icon on the upper right corner of your screen > tap [Automatic Answer] > toggle [Automatic Answer].

• For some devices that runsColorOS 5.1to6.1: Go to [Phone] and tap  at the top right corner > tap [Automatic Answer] and toggle it off.

• Alternatively, you can go to [Settings] > [System Apps] > [Call] > [Automatic Answer].
  

Google Phone App

1. Go to [Phone] and tap the 3 dot icon at the top right corner. 

2. Tap [Settings] > [Calling accounts].

3. Tap [Auto answer] and toggle it off.
