Can Smart Sidebar be Used When the Phone Screen is Horizontal or Landscape?

Applicable to: ColorOS 5.2 and above device. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Yes, the Smart Sidebar can be accessed when the screen is horizontal, where the quick apps and quick tools features may be used to call up designated apps in floating windows. For example, you can reply to messages on the same screen you are watching a full screen video in landscape.

To use the Smart Sidebar in landscape mode, go to [Settings] > [Smart & Convenient]/[Convenience Tools] > [Smart Sidebar] and toggle it on. When the screen is horizontal, from the left edge of the screen, slightly swipe to the right and the Smart Sidebar will show.
