Can NFC Be Downloaded to OPPO Phone
NFC (Near-Field Communication) is a feature that comes with OPPO phones. With this feature, transferring files and making payments is easy on your OPPO smartphone. However, it is not possible to download NFC on your OPPO smartphone. If you are wondering why, you can read our simple guide below to understand why it is not possible.
OPPO phone's NFC feature
NFC, or Near-field communication, is a wireless technology that allows devices to share information by placing them side by side. You can use NFC to send files, photos, and videos, transfer contacts, share apps, and make contactless payments between NFC-enabled mobile devices. You can't download NFC if your OPPO smartphone doesn't support it because it requires specific hardware.
Note: The NFC feature's availability may vary across phone models, regions, and mobile network carriers. You can check your phone's manual to see if it supports the NFC feature.
How to enable the NFC feature
Go to this FAQ to learn more about the NFC feature and how to enable it.
For ColorOS 12 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Connection & sharing] > [NFC] > enable [NFC].
For ColorOS 11 and below: Go to [Settings] > [Other Wireless Connections] / [Connection & sharing] and toggle on [NFC]. Doing this will automatically enable Android Beam. If not, tap [Android Beam] and toggle on to activate.
