Can I Delete Pre-installed Apps on OPPO Phone
Do you have certain pre-installed apps sitting on your home screen and taking up space? Although it isn't possible to permanently delete them, you can prevent them from clogging up your screen. Just hold the unwanted app's icon and select [Remove]! Read below to learn more!
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
Delete pre-installed apps
You can only temporarily stop or turn off default apps but cannot completely uninstall them from the phone. Some default applications are necessary for the device to function well. Attempting to modify the software to remove these applications may corrupt the phone system.
How to delete/ remove apps
Through Google Play Store: Go to [Play Store] and tap your [Profile icon] on the upper right corner > [Manage apps and device] > [Manage] then tap an app you want to uninstall and tap [Uninstall].
*Through home screen: To remove an application on your home screen, hold the icon of the app you wish to delete, then tap [Remove].
Note: *If the home screen is in app drawer mode, the app will only be removed from the homescreen. (This is only applicable for ColorOS 6.0 and above).
