Call Drops After Pressing Power Button Despite OPPO Settings

Using the Power button to end calls is a convenient way to end calls. However, if you've turned this off from the settings and the call still drops after pressing the Power button, you may need to check your OPPO phone's settings again.

Why does my call drop even if I turned off "Press power button to End Calls" in the Settings

OPPO Settings app and the Google Dialer both offer the same feature of ending the calls using the Power button. If either one is enabled, the call will still be disconnected after pressing the Power button.

How to fix this issue

You can fix this issue by turning off both the feature in OPPO Settings and the Google Dialer app.

Google Dialer:

Open the [Google dialer] app > tap the [] on the upper-right corner > [Settings] > [Calling Accounts] > [Answer/End Calls] and toggle [Press Power Button to End Calls] to turn off.

OPPO Settings:

Go to [Settings] > [Additional settings] /[Accessibility & convenience] > [Accessibility] and toggle [Press Power button to end calls] to turn off.
