Block Apps on Startup

Many apps run automatically at the same time when you power on your device. These apps increase the startup time of your device and also drain battery life. The startup manager helps you to manage startup blocking records. Blocking apps from running in the background can save more power and faster boot-up timing. Applicable to: ColorOS 5.0 & above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About phone].


How to Block Apps


For ColorOS 12 & above:

  • Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [Auto launch] > Turn off the blue toggle of the app to grey to block it from starting at bootup time.


For Color7 & above:

  • Go to [Settings] > [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [Startup Manager] > Turn off the green toggle of the app to grey to block it from starting at bootup time. 


For ColorOS 5.2 & above:

  • Go to  [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [Startup Manager] > Turn off the green toggle of the app to grey to block it from starting at bootup time..
